River View Room

There's a moment just after dawn when the mist sits on the river like gauze, the mountains behind it barely visible, and the only sound is water moving beneath you. That's the moment the River View Room was designed for.

The room's defining feature is its full glass wall — floor to ceiling, wall to wall — that slides open to a private deck sitting directly over the river. The bed faces the water, so the view is the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing at night. At sunset, the mountains across the river catch fire in shades of amber and violet, and the whole room glows.

Inside, the design stays simple to let the setting do the work. A comfortable sofa sits at the foot of the bed for river-watching. The palette is soft — white linens, grey cushions, warm wood — nothing competing with what's outside the window. Air conditioning keeps things cool when the Thai heat rises, and the deck is yours for reading, drinking coffee, or just sitting still for once.
